Industrial Tablet Integration

Problem, intervention, outcome

Clients encounter this when: industrial tablets are not part of a governed system—no reliable link to backend APIs, no remote control or lifecycle management, and failures in operational or unattended use.

We intervene by: integrating tablets with control software and networks: device lifecycle management, API-driven control, remote state synchronisation, failure isolation, and deployment within environmental constraints so tablets operate reliably in light-industrial display environments.

The result is: tablets behave as part of a single governed system; operational state is visible; device behaviour is predictable and auditable.

What this means in practice

Industrial tablet integration involves connecting rugged tablets to operational systems through device software, API connections, and OS-level configuration. This includes network setup, authentication, and ensuring tablets operate reliably in industrial environments.

Tablet hardware is primary. Integration exists to support tablet operation in industrial environments. Software is subordinate to device operation, and any control interface is supporting only. Tablets must connect to backend systems, handle offline operation, support remote device management, and provide operational data visibility. Integration work covers device configuration and the software that enables communication with existing systems.

When this is NOT suitable

Industrial tablet integration is not suitable for:

Explicit refusal

This work does not include consumer tablet apps, generic tablet management platforms, or marketing-focused tablet deployments. If you need tablets only for content display without operational data integration, you should look for a digital signage vendor or consumer app developer.

However, bespoke control interfaces or project-specific CMS components are included when they exist solely to support tablet integration, operational data visibility, and reliable device behaviour. CMS is not the offering; integration capability is not limited by tooling.

Integration work is delivered by Correct Tech Solutions Ltd (UK), using secure cloud deployment on Amazon AWS, with automated testing and deployment pipelines.
